Murata Netherlands was founded in late 1989 at Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. It was established at this central point to provide better sales, marketing and logistical support for all its customers.
These include those in the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Iceland, Luxembourg, Israel, South Africa, Russia, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tadzhikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Since its foundation, Murata Netherlands has grown from 5 employees to its present level of 87 and as of September 1992 has been ISO9002 approved.
Due to the wide range of cultures within its territory, Murata Netherlands tries to support all of its customers by employing staff who speak their local language. Murata Netherlands also employs local staff who speak Japanese allowing direct contact with the production factories in Japan and improving the speed of service and delivery.
