Introduction

Murata Elektronik GmbH, Opfikon Branch, Switzerland (formerly Murata Electronics Switzerland AG. founded in 1997 and Ageltro AG since 1978) is based at Glattbrugg, near Zurich and the Airport.

The aim of the Swiss branch of Murata Elektronik GmbH, Nürnberg is to provide the best possible customer service in areas such as technology, logistics, sales and marketing services; to support this an EDP-System is introduced to communicate easily with Murata factories and sales affiliates all over the world.

Murata Elektronik GmbH, Opfikon Branch, Switzerland, has 4 employees, and is responsible for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Due to the multicultural nature of Switzerland this sales operation has a very positive approach to supporting communication towards customers in their own language. Fast evaluation of technical matters needs a lot of know-how and experience, and the Swiss branch provides both of these to customers through the experience of its employees and the quality of Murata products. The warehouse is based at Nürnberg where stock is held ready for customers.

The company has been approved to the ISO9002 standard since July 1993.
